ABOUT BLUE-ZEE FARM


       Located on the beautiful Blue Hill Peninsula and straddling the towns of Blue Hill and Penobscot, Blue-Zee Farm is a small MOFGA Certified Organic family farm owned and operated by Mark & Renata Scarano with help from our daughter Julia.
       In 2007 we began our journey to resurrect and rebuild a tired old farm back to its former glory. From the soils we carefully nurture, We’ve been steadfastly committed to growing the healthiest food, protecting our environment using time-honored organic practices and employing local folks to help us bring our delicious and nutritious food to market. We strive to be good stewards of this land, so that our generation and future generations may continue to be nourished by the healthy and vibrant food produced on this land. We are committed in our support of our local food systems and to creating a strong and vibrant local food economy for our community.
       We invite you to get to know our farm and family by visiting our Farm Stand, or by using our Harvest For Me to pre-order our seasonal bounty for next-day pickup at the farm. You can also visit us at the Farmers Markets we participate in. and when you've run out of our Maine Wild blueberries at home and you can't get to us, you can find out Where We Sell our fresh or frozen blue gems.
